I hate my professor

So I am just about to start my formal lab write up for chemistry and decided to get a little ranting out of the way so that I can focus. MY O-CHEM TEACHER SUCKS!!! Well, really, he seems like a nice guy but he definately shouldn't be teaching.

   So, you know, organic chemistry is a pretty hard subject. Well, my professor's way of teaching this hard material is to give us a workbook and put us in groups where we spend all class learning this material ourselves while he walks around and "monitors" our progress. And so we come to class he gives us a quiz everyday on what he did the previous class. To make matters worse, when he does lecture, we cannot understand a lick of what he is saying. All he does is mumble and draws mumbo jumbo on the board for 50 minutes. Everyone just kind of looks at eachother, confused.

   We also have a 3 hour lab once a week after an already long and grueling day (taking other classes too) and expects so much from us!! We always have some complicated pre-lab to write-up and then an even more complicated formal report followed by complicated questions that have nothing to do with the lab.

   The exams are horrible, long, and tedious. I have never ever been given such long exams for a 50 minute time period. There are only three exams a quarter, one being the final, so if you screw up on one then you're pretty much screwed. I took an exam today and studied my ass off the past week and I still felt like at best I could get a C!

   Maybe I'm just a bad student, maybe I'm just stupid. But really, I have never had a professor I disliked so much and now I am stuck with him for the whole year because he is the only one that teaches ochem! T____T *cries*

   I feel better. Now I will sulk away and work on all this crap I have to do for tomorrow's lab that will probably take me 6 hours to complete.
